(What even the first RP on here is a shitty RP by me why this help) Based on the Corpse Party game Plot
You remember it clearly; you and some of your friends were talking before school, when one of them told you all of a very peculiar charm, that was to make you friends forever. It seemed like a silly idea, a charm to make you 'friends forever'. Such things were nonsense, weren't they? Still, since it was such nonsense, after all, it surely couldn't hurt to try it? Just to humour the others?
You promise to meet up after school, where one of your friends stands ready with a paper doll. "It's the Sachiko Ever After charm." They tell you, as they instruct you on the charm.
It seems harmless enough.
But perhaps you stumbled upon something darker than a charm; maybe more to the likes of... A curse?
Did you guys, perhaps, bite off more than you could chew?
Rules
» Naturally stick to the forum's rules. » This RP is a spin-off type of RP from the game Corpse Party, which is a Japanese game; as such, the RP also takes place in Japan (I know, I know). Please make your character Japanese or give them a good reason to be there. » I'll use my character as a drive to further the plot as well as several NPCs where necessary. » I won't God Mod or Powerplay, however, so I expect the same in return! » You have to be content with the death of your character or characters. I'll PM you in advance to ask for permission. If you do not want your character to die, then make a secondary character which you do not mind dying. » I'm not going into gorey details with deaths, so don't worry! uwu

Name: Saki MiwakoGender: FemaleAge: SeventeenAppearance: Saki is a very short girl with a petite and child-like build. She's only 1.54 m tall (or rather, 'short'), 4 cm below average height. Her hair is straight and neatly kept. She's rather flat-chested and she dresses up in mostly black gothic-lolita like clothing, preferably dresses. She has a black cape with hood with her at all times though, which she puts on whenever the horror-story moments strike.Personality: Saki is a rather calm-looking person, preferring not to get too wound up or excited about many things. She can be a bit cheeky; making a joke or small prank every now and then, or asking something not befitting of the atmosphere or private. Even so, she doesn't get wound up about it, she'll just sit there with a calm smile as the victim of her joke scolds her or tells her she can't ask such things.
She's also a quite intelligent girl, all her grades always nearly at the top of the class, but her constant studying comes at the price of not having the very best of social skills as well as a pretty bad condition (she doesn't get excited over sports either, you see). After a lap she'll already be wheezing and panting and cutting corners wherever she can.
While she doesn't get excited about many things, she does have a distinct liking for anything horror and occult. In her free time she likes to watch horror movies (and will gladly invite any of her friends that are willing to watch with her), read scary stories and learn about the paranormal, supernatural and occult. A bad storyteller, but will gladly share any of her stories with you as she remebers quite a lot of them, especially if they're to her liking. While she normally seems calm with only the smallest of smiles, she can turn her face into a rather disturbing grin if she's sharing one of her horror stories with you, just to add to the atmosphere (even though she's not a good storyteller, but at least she knows how to set the horror mood). She's also the founder of the occult club at the school, and you'll have to take it up with her if anyone wants to join (she will be more than happy to let anyone in. Honestly. Anyone).
Her most recent discovery is the Sachiko Ever After charm, which she is very keen on trying out with her friends, making it an attempt at coercing them into the same love for the occult as she has, like she's known for doing.History: Saki had a very normal life so far. She lived with her mother and father as well as older sister, who she looks up to very strongly. Her older sister, Haruko, is the reason that Saki has such a love for the occult; her sister, after travelling the world for one and a half year and having learned about many creepy stories and folklore, has become a somewhat popular novelist, writing thrilling and bone-chilling stories about demons, ghosts, curses and the paranormal. Saki aims to be like her older sister as much as possible. This lead her to study hard to be as smart as her sister and read up on all the horror and occult she could find.
About five years ago, Saki's younger sister was born, Kyouko. While a lot more active and tomboy-like than her two sisters, she does look up to them and has grown a fondness for horror stories as well, though she is much more easily frightened by them. Saki wishes to become a success like her sister Haruko, so that it will also show Kyouko that she can become anything she want to become.Mental Strength: 4. Saki has watched the most gorey of horror movies, read the most bone-chilling stories and heard of the most disturbing curses and tales. It takes something rather sinister, dark and painfully real to make her lose it.Physical Strength: 2. Saki could walk for a while just as any other normal person could without any problems, but once she has to pick it up to a jog she'll tire very quickly. She'll slow down, start dragging her feet and get pains, tripping over her own feet. She'll need a real good drive to keep on running, as well as a proper rest afterwards.Curiousity: 3. Saki is a curious person, always seeking for an opportunity to broaden her knowledge. However, when it seems eerie or risky, she has no particular desire for it. She won't stick her hand in any dark, damp holes if it looks dangerous, but if she can see something in a spider-filled hole, she'll try to get a hold of it. General rule for her is, “if it looks dangerous, I'm not doing it”.Intelligence: 5. As Saki is constantly studying, she has a very high understanding of any subject you may learn in school. She not only studies hard, but she also has the mind that easily helps her grasp the concepts she's studying. With an older sister that travelled the world and thus has not only intelligence but also knowledge out of experience, she's learned many 'life lessons' rather early on as well, through anecdotes and stories from Haruko. It tends to make Saki feel like some sort of old man; but she's content being that way.Hesitation: 3. She hesitates like any normal and average person would, rather not doing something than taking up action. If she really has to do it, she might stand there for some minutes, trying to find a way out of it, ending up doing the things that are only absolutely necessary to do. If it's dangerous, she might even decide to not do it at all; and if she decides to take up even the slightest of action in those moments, they're more than often too late or mere afterthoughts, “if I only had..”Other: N/A.
Name: Akira “Aki” KimimaruGender: MaleAge: SixteenAppearance: Aki is a slim boy with very average looks. His hair's ruffled and a bit of a mess (especially on mondays) and he dresses simple and sometimes even blandly, preferring t-shirts and jeans over anything that would stand out too much. He's below average height, however, about 1.63 cm, considering the fact that 1.70 is generally an average height for men in Japan.Personality: Aki's a very shy and sensitive boy, preferring to keep in the background of things and help from the shadows, unnoticed. He doesn't talk to strangers and will stumble over his own words when talked to. Even within his group of friends he remains quiet most of the time, just going along with whatever they want to do. When with his friends, however, he has less trouble with speaking; he just won't initiate a conversation on his own. He's more than happy to be part of the group without standing out, it gives him the feeling that he still belongs somewhere.
Aki doesn't take any bullying or criticism very well at all, and is easily reduced to a blubbering mess. The slightest hint of critique can throw him into insecurity and fully retreat into himself again. If it's especially bad, he won't even want to leave his room. He knows of himself that he's a mess, but he just can't change it about himself. He tries to take critique, but he just can't cope with it. As such, he's very dependant of others to stand up for him.
He's still a person with a heart full of love and care to give though, and he's ever so easy to forgive someone if they wronged him. He knows what it's like to feel useless or weak, so he tries to give his friends as much of a place as he can, more than happy to jump to their aid whenever necessary. He'll quietly hold anyone who has to shed a tear or two, and he'll tell anyone who feels weak that they're not so weak at all, and just how great of a person they are.
If you ask him about private matters, he'll often just stammer something incoherent and turn a bright red. He's not comfortable talking about his own life or anything he considers private (perhaps it's because he's actually not that fond of girls at all, so to speak. Who knows).History: Aki grew up with his mother, Nami. His father died of illness when Aki was still seven, so while remembering his father well, he can't recall everything. He remembers that his father's name was Jun, and that they didn't get along well at all, neither did his father get along well with Aki's cousin, Kenshin, who lived with them for a couple of years. They often got in arguments about the tiniest things, and Aki's father was quick to get mad if he was watching them from the hallway. Everytime that happened, he would run to his room, soon after his mother would enter and explain to him that the only reason daddy would get so upset about things was because he liked Kenshin very much and was worried about him.
Aki's general feeling of insecurity also stemmed from his father, as he was always criticising every little thing he did. Never quite feeling like he could ever live up to his father's expectations, even while the old man was sick, Aki grew to accept the fact he was weak, mediocre or bad at whatever he did, and just simply not good enough. When his father died, Aki grieved; but not as much as he should, all he could think was that maybe now, he could start being good enough for others, even though his father would never live to see him be good enough.
Knowing how much he dreaded the treatment his father gave him, Aki promised himself that he would never treat someone in such a manner. He wanted to be self-assured and kind, but he simply couldn't be the former, so he decided to be even more of the latter.
When Aki turned thirteen, his mother figured he'd be old enough to understand, so she gave him a letter that his father wrote to him when he was sick and knew he wouldn't make it. It was an apology for treating him badly, along with an explanation. He had been good enough, but he wanted to make his son into everything he himself could never be by pushing him. Aki forgave his father; he already had, but he just couldn't believe the last part of the letter, so he threw it out without much regrets of doing so, the letter having changed absolutely nothing about him, signing at his actual emptiness.Mental Strength: 2. Aki's bad with anything slightly disturbing. He hates horror and thriller and anything remotely creepy for it will make his stomach turn and give him restless nights if it's particularly bad. He'll shield his eyes from anything he doesn't want to see, and if he can't, he'll just simply start to cry.Physical Strength: 3. Aki has a very average condition. Neither bad nor good, he can take a short jog or a minimal sprint if he has to, but it'll leave him panting and slowed down.Curiousity: 4. If there is one thing Aki is, then it's curious. He just wants to know, unless it's gross. He'll crawl behind shelves or stick his hand in holes for the tiniest sparkle he may notice, but considering his mental state he just can't and won't stick his hands between the bones of an old skeleton or chase after something disturbing like a ghost.Intelligence: 3. Again, Aki's just your average boy in this subject. His grades are average, and he knows what you'd expect your every day sixteen year old to know.Hesitation: 2. While a shy and insecure boy, he will do anything for his friends. It might break him and send him to tears, but he doesn't want anyone else to hurt any more than they should have to. If it's only his own fate he'd decide over, he'll get more clueless on what to do, but if it's for his friends he'll be quick to make a decision, even if he ends up a mess afterwards.Other: N/A.
